Passenger Information System

The system enables targeted delivery of visual and audio information to passengers across all airport terminals. It is centrally managed and consists of two components: an audio information system (PAVA*) and a visual information system (FIDS).

PURPOSE

Enhancing passenger comfort by minimizing terminal-wide public address announcements and delivering only essential audio information

Enables rapid adoption of the "silent airport" concept

The carrier and the handling organization are obliged to provide passengers at the airport with visual and audio information

Complies with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Order No. 82 dated June 28, 2007, regarding Chapter VII "Passenger Service"

Easily accommodate changes to airline branding (logos, color schemes), display codeshare flights, and more

Rapid implementation of changes to passenger information protocols based on airline requirements

Targeted Passenger Information: personalized messaging, business lounge notifications, native-language announcements, zone-specific broadcasts (e.g., security, gates), and coverage of landside areas including forecourts and parking facilities

Ancillary services enablement

PAX- Control Special Control — triggers an announcement for paging late passengers.

BRS Integration — triggers an announcement for additional baggage screening.
